photography Kati van Helden
Marjolein started with style dancing on competition level, danced in a group on House and R&B, gave aerobics/steps lessons, followed Salsa 'with right' and 'with left' and now gives Street Salsa, Street Salsa for Kids, Latina Dance and Zumba. Christina Vis
Salsa - Salsa Styling
When Christina was 17, she started dancing Ballroom and Latin. Shortly after that she danced Latin on competition level. After a lot of hard training and competitions in the country and abroad, she lost the fun. During a holiday in Cuba she learned Salsa and since then she is addcited. About 15 years ago she started at Dos Bailadores and never left. She danced with right as well as with left and soon after that she started assisting with Lady Styling. From her background she could learn the ladies a lot of technique and sexy movements and since a few years she does that on all Salsa levels. As nobody else Christina knows that a good base is half of the work and therefore she pays a lot of attention to that. But fun is of coarse the most important thing.
Eddy Barret
Salsa On 2 (Mambo)
Eddy, born in Aruba, learned the Salsa from his father and sisters when he was very young. In 2001 he moved to The Netherlands and started with a Salsa course in Groningen at the TopSalsa Dance Company (NY/LA-style), under supervision of Mechteld Sterk and Norvin Nocento. In 2003 Eddy performed with the demo team of the TopSalsa Dance Company at several (inter)national parties, and reached the 2nd place of the European Salsa championships. Eddy started teaching in 2003 (On 1 NY/LA-style), both partner dance and menstyling. But after having followed many On 2 workshops in the country and abroad, Eddy now teaches On 2 and dancing On 2 became Eddy's biggest passion. This passion is also expressed in other activities: in 2005 and 2006 Eddy was the choreographer of the Pachanga Dance School Demo Team from Aruba and he is a famous DJ on many Salsa parties.

Judith Geurts
Bellydance
Judith brings you into the world of Bellydance. As of her enthusiastic way of teaching you will be stirred by the music and besides the technique you will learn to give your own turn to the dance. On various music styles you will learn isolation movements, but also shaking, jerking, waving and rotating movements. Briefly, you will follow the rhythm of the music with your body. Your body will become flexible, your co-ordination and posture will improve and the sensuality and feminine nature will be emphasized. Judith has more than 6 years experience in Bellydance. She started with classical ballet, jazz ballet and modern dance but finally got devoted to Bellydancing. With a dance group she performed in the whole country and gave many workshops. Now she is an enthusiastic teacher at Dos Bailadores.
Liliane de Graaf
Salsa
When she was 10 years old, Liliane started Style dancing. Not long after that she started with a Salsa course at Dos Bailadores. Soon Liliane was an active member of the Salsa show team, but she also followed lessons classic ballet, tap dancing, streetdance and many other dances. After finishing highschool, Liliane followed musical theatre education at the Academy of Music in Alkmaar during one year. The year after that, and after tough auditions, she succeeded to get entrance to the Frank Sanders Academy for Musical theatre in Amsterdam. A language study in Barcelona and several trips to e.g. Cuba, increased her dedication to Salsa. Since 2000, the multi talented Liliane also gives lessons at Dos Bailadores, in between her performances.
Manodj Adhin
Axé - Zouk - Zumba
Manodj started as a course participant at Claudio Gomes in 1994.
Claudio found out that he was talented and recognised his passion
for dance. After some time assisting with the lessons he asked him
to become dance teacher. In 1996 Manodj started with Salsa lessons,
but soon this was extended with Samba de Gafieira, Zouk and Axé.
Manodj visits Brazil on a regular base to follow lessons near the
source from famous dancers and dancing teachers. For the current
Salsa style 'with left' he still learns new things at Dos Bailadores
and follows as many workshops as possible.
In his lessons Manodj pays much attention to a good technique. Therefore
a clear explanation is very important and he gives the people the
attention they need. But the most important is that people enjoy
themselves and feel pleasant during the lessons. He tries to bring
his enthusiasm to the people. Manodj obtains a lot of energy and
satisfaction from giving dance lessons. Manodj is a certified Zumba
instructor as well.

Rafael Espinal
Bachata - Dominica - Merengue - Percussion
The Dutch career of Salsa, Merengue and Bachata-expert Rafael Espinal -also known as 'El Dueño del Swing'-, goes back into time since the Salsa scene in The Hague started. Rafael, originally from the Dominican Republic and partly grown up in Curaçao, soon became a concept by his fantastic way of teaching. With a lot of enthusiasm, patience and knowledge he teaches the tricks of various South American dances and dance styles for already more than 15 years. His way of teaching differentiates him from his colleagues by several things. One of his most famous statements is: 'Learning to dance is like learning to walk'. His lessons are absolutely unique. Many people find that the finest thing from Rafael is that you not only learn to dance, but that you will also get pieces of history, culture, etiquette and learn to listen to the music. Besides that, Rafael is active as DJ as well.
Rosalie Blom
Salsa On 2 (Mambo)
Rosalie took her first Salsa lessons in 1995: first Cuban Style, but soon after that also LA-style. In 2002 she learned to dance 'on 2' (NY-style or Mambo), and after that she lost her heart on the 'two'. Seven years long Rosalie danced in several show groups, among with that of Club Asi Haarlem (2000) and Salsa Dance Squad (2001 - 2003), with many performances abroud. From 2003 Rosalie is no longer connected to any dance school, show group or regular dance partner, which resulted in her own style - elegant, defying and sometimes even sturdy.
Willem Engel
Zouk
My love for Brazil started in 1999. After a course Capoeira I was devoted immediately. As of my enthusiasm, the next holiday was booked to Brazil. Besides Capoeira, I also became aquainted there with the typical Brazilian dances Samba and Forró. Back in The Netherlands I started with a course Salsa at Dos Bailadores. After following all the courses Salsa, I started with a course Zouk in 2003. The wavy hairs and the fluent movements fascinated me and this was the dance that I love. At the end of 2004 Vanderlei asked me if I wanted to join the demo group, together with some course members. After more than a year of performances and assisting with the lessons the possibility was offered to provide the Zouk lessons on Sunday, together with Debbie. In these lessons we pay a lot of attention to dance techniques, but we also try to offer the dance in such a way that there is a possibility for various styles. There is not just one good style, but as many styles as there are people that dance.
